The exciting process of Cira Perdue or Lost Wax - Ceramic Shell Casting in Molten Bronze was caught by Roger Barth, Photographer, at Tallix Foundry in Peekskill, NY Roger's wife April wrote the feature article for 40 Magazine.
Sculptor Bill Osmundsen is pictured at the top left completing the Model at Burrows Gallery, in Englewood, NJ
Molds, a final Wax, Ceramic Shell and Bronze is melted at 2,250 F. for the pour at Tallix Foundry.
A miniaturized sculpture was created by the Artist for casting in Sterling Silver. This work was cast by Tallix and had a Troy weight of 35 Toz.
The 'Terns' were made for Bob Pouch then CEO and President of Barber Steamship. When he left the Company he kept the Bronze, Onyx Base and Teak Pedestal as it was installed. He exhibited my work at several venues and later donated the work
