are created from hammered copper

The weathervane to your right was created with the same process that the Statue of Liberty was; - this method is known as repousse which is to hammer and form metal. 

 The 'Boats' sculpture material is copper a metal  favored for repousse work.

The overall vane height from coordinates to top of mast was about 10 feet.

 The Weathervanes pictured above:- the 'Sloop' and 'Sighting' are the two principal weathervanes of 4 Vanes commissioned from two
NH%Percent for Art Awards by: NH State Council on the Arts;   NH State Liquor Commission; NH Department of Transportation and the National Endowment for the Arts.
The Vanes can be seen on I-95N. as you cross the State line from Mass. See 'Sighting' on the NH Welcome Center in Seabrook and a few miles north the 'Sloop', "Sun Rising" and "Crescent Moon" on the State Liquor Store.
