St. Peter Plaque
St. Peter Plaque by Wm Barth Osmundsen

St. Peter Plaque installed at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Farmington, New Hampshire, November 2004, is an example of combining modern and traditional materials and bringing creative art to 'signage'.

The 'Posts' are solid Granite and the 'Plaque' created using traditional molding techniques could have been carved in stone or cast in bronze but instead, as a cost saving move, was fauve finished; cast and fabricated in polyester resin.

The sculpted relief of St. Peter was inspired from a  full length statue in Rome, in the round, of St. Peter.
