Jorden Hanssen Modern Ocean Rower

endorses Fox Sculpture Project

end

The Fox Sculpture Project
is very pleased to have the endorsement of Jordan Hanssen who made a very similar transatlantic crossing by oar, like  George Harbo and Frank Samuelsen, in a small boat; a modern version of the Surf-Boat 'Fox', which crossed the Atlantic one hundred and ten years earlier and the subject of The Fox Sculpture Project.

Jordan and three other men; Greg Spooner, Brad Vickers and Dylan LeValley left Battery Park, in downtown New York City and rowed for 71 days to Falmouth, England.

Please take a moment to scroll down and read Jordan's thoughts on his crossing and his remarks about  George Harbo and Frank Samuelsen who made their crossing in 1896.  The first ever to attempt an transatlantic crossing by oar.
